丁自强教授毕业于第二军医大学军医系，曾任第二军医大学助教，讲师，副教授，日本名古屋大学医学部研修生；日本大阪大学医学部博士后特别研究员；加拿大达尔豪斯大学和IWK Grace Health Center博士后研究员；加拿大多伦多大学医学部和University Health Network研究员。

现任加拿大帮达公司（BANGDA CANADA INC.）总经理；加拿大美宝星控股有限公司（STAR MAPLE HOLDINGS LTD）董事长。
